Wind Dancer Farm
Lisa has been responsible for the breaking and training of all the babies for her family's breeding program over the last 20 years. Rajacon's Rose, one of the first foals born on the farm in Pittsburgh, eventually became a successful broodmare herself. She gave birth to 5 beautiful and athletic babies, two of whom achieved success at the Advanced level. Most of the babies became successful eventers, and it was the one who jumped out of her paddock before she was weaned - Rosie's Little Miss Liberty - who was the first to compete at the Advanced level.
Rosie's last baby, Rosie's Aventadora aka Possum, placed 4th and 2nd at her first two Advanced runs, and she was top 15 at her first 4*. In 2024, Lisa and Possum completed the Defender Kentucky Three Day Event at the 4* level, where she had a great dressage test, was a beast on cross country, and jumped her best with only one rail in the show jumping. Possum just picked up a 5th place ribbon at Morven Park 4*, again showing her prowess on cross country along with a lovely dressage test and show jump round.
Rosie is now in her mid teens and has retired from her broodmare duties to our farm in Pittsburgh. There is a potential grandchild (enbryo "on ice") that may some day become another upper level eventer....
